Wake relatively early and look for local breakfast: pho & ice coffee on the street (amusing to locals). Stop at hotel restaurant for bread & fruit. Drive to Cu Chi Tunnels (tunnels, tunnel-related buildings, traps, gun range). Drive to Cao Dai temple for noon ritual. Lunch nearby. Drive back to HCMC. Walk around: market, haircut, market, ice cream shop w/view of street. Meet guide & driver, drive to local restaurant (too much food). Then ice cream & fish ball shop. Then quick stop to pick up durian sticky rice. Return to hotel & watch TV a while.
